Adam Pogue Big Plaid Flag
Adam Pogue is a textile artist based in Los Angeles. He began his career working in apparel and has since created his own textile appliqué language, inspired by Korean Pojagi and quilting techniques found throughout the world. Adam works with Commune on product and special projects using textile remnants and vintage fabrics that Commune finds along the way. Obi fabrics from a trip to Japan, army canvas used for upholstery, and discarded carpet and drapery are all reconfigured to create a new textile experience.
Mixed materials; canvas, mixed cotton and vintage fabrics, wood beads and silk tassel with nylon netting pole pocket. This panel is one of a kind.
